Elder W. Whatley
F. B. Whatley is a grandson of Elder W. Whatley. He married the youngest child of Cyrus Allen Esq. He has five sons and four daughters. Hi is a good practical farmer, is a carpenter for his neighborhood, is ingenious and intelligent, a thriving , upright, citizen. His home is on the that historic section nineteen and has a family burial place.
Some brothers, second cousins of F. B. Whatley , reside in the western part of the county. These all are in one line, of Huguenot descent, and are now all Baptists.
Mrs. Whatley, in her girlhood, was a schoolmate of the children of the Creighton family, and when some of these return to the old home localities for a visit, they find in Mrs. Whatley a faithful friend of their early days.
